Chief Executive and Program Coordinator
Md. Rafiqul Islam studied Development Management at Ruhr University, Bochum, Germany. He has 17 years of experience in development cooperation. His responsibility in the organization is to coordinate among funding organizations, implementing partners, and staff. He is responsible for project management, fundraising, and advocacy.

Abidur Rahman Khan

General secretary
Abidur Khan studied Hydrogeology and Environmental Management at the Technical University of Darmstadt, Germany. He has 19 years of experience in the field of urban planning, GIS, remote sensing, hydrology, and hydrogeology. Dr. Sujit Sikder

Treasurer
Dr. Sikder did his Ph.D. from the Institute of Geodesy and Geoformation (IGG), University of Bonn, Germany. By profession, he is passionate about action-oriented scientific innovations for sustainable transformation of urban and city regions, but also fairly sensitive to the issues of governance.

Founding Member
Mushrat Zahan is a Nursing Assistant by profession in Germany. She did her diploma in Nursing Assistance in Germany and Master degree in Bangla literature in Bangladesh. She ensures the accountability of the organization along with other founding member.

Mohammad Ruhul Amin

Founding member
Mohammad Ruhul Amin is graduated from Westfälische Wilhelms-Universität Münster, Germany. He is a researcher in the field of earth science: urban governance and planning, environmental management, hydrology, ecology, geohazards, and climate change, etc with advanced skills in GIS and remote sensing technologies. He is interested in the human–nature interaction related simulations through empirical research projects.

Ishrat Jahan

Founding Member
Ishrat Jahan graduated in Regional Planning from Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT), Karlsruhe, and working as a scientific researcher in the field of Disaster Risk Management Sector focusing on Ecosystem-based disaster risk reduction at the ITT, TH Köln. She has over 12 years of experience in development fields conceptualizing and proposing project ideas, research, and advocacy including monitoring, evaluation, and administration. She advises for the further development of the organization and monitors the progress.

Shiuli Pervin graduated from the University of Jaume I, Castellon, Spain, and the University of Münster, Germany. She is working as a Technical Expert in GIS in Hofer & Pautz GbR, Germany. She is one of the team members to ensure the accountability of the organization

Jamil Ahmed Chowdhury

Program Manager - Immigrants and Refugees Program
Jamil Ahmed Chowdhury studied Sustainable Development Management at Rhine-Waal University of Applied Sciences, Germany. His responsibility in the organization is to prepare the project document. He is responsible for different project implementation, arranging workshops and training & recruiting volunteers.

Munima Sultana

Program Manager - Environmental Protection, Climate Change and Disaster Management Program
Munima Sultana studied in Environment and Energy; Water and Wastewater Management and Technology from Duisburg-Essen University, Germany. Her responsibility in the organization includes planning and executing program activities with the team, conducting program reviews, and preparing research proposals and reports, especially in the areas of environmental protection, climate change, and disaster management.

Maliha Haider

Program Officer- Betterment of Working Conditions Program:
Maliha Haider holds university degrees in biological (life) sciences, specializing in molecular biology from Chittagong University, Bangladesh. She was a research assistant in the relevant field in Pediatric surgery department, CMCH; Laboratory of Eukaryotic Gene Expression and Function (EuGEF), Department of Biochemistry & Molecular Biology, Chittagong University, Bangladesh and Chittagong Research Institute for Children Surgery (CRICS) in Bangladesh. She looks after the partnerships and projects under the program - Betterment of Working Conditions.

Raiyan Al-Mansur

Program Officer- Education and Capacity Development Program
Raiyan Al-Mansur studied Sustainability, Society and the Environment at Kiel University, Germany. His research interests include human migration in the face of climate change, migrants’ livelihood strategies in urban area and better understanding of disaster risk management and local practices for climate change adaptation. He has years of professional working experiences in development sector. He is responsible for the projects under Education and Capacity Development Program.

Madhab Raj Neupane

Advisor - Planning, Monitoring and Evaluation
Madhab Raj Neupane studied Regional Development Planning and Management at TU Dortmund, Germany. He also has academic background of Business Management and Civil Engineering. He has more than 17 years of experience in managing large, complex, and multi-donor funded projects with integrated and human rights-based community development approach at the core. In ASG, he is responsible for leadership in planning, monitoring and evaluation of the strategy, projects implemented by the organization and its partner.

Advisor-Fundraising, Knowledge Management and Research
Md. Sohel Rana is a development economics professional with a master’s in Regional Development from TU Dortmund, Germany and Universidad Austral de Chile. He is passionate about seeking evidence through quasi/experimental research and fundraising for social development programs. He is responsible for the research & knowledge management, proposal development and fundraising for ASG Germany e.V.
